Off the court, Caitlin Clark has been a champion for her community. While breaking records at the University of Iowa, Caitlin assisted (pun intended!) the Coralville Community Food Pantry in raising over $100,000 to help her neighbors facing food insecurity.
To celebrate her return to Carver Hawkeye Arena for her jersey retirement ceremony on 2/2/25, the Caitlin Clark Foundation selected the Food Pantry as one of four local organizations to receive a generous $22,000 donation last week. It’s safe to say we were floored by this announcement.
Caitlin’s generosity could not have come at a better time, as we continue to see record-breaking numbers of visitors leaning on the Food Pantry for life-giving food. Last year, for the first time in our history, we provided over 1 million pounds of food to our neighbors.
#22 has forever changed our local community and state for good. She continues to bring us joy during challenging times. Thank you, Caitlin, for your game-changing generosity! You are forever our hero! Check out our thank you video below:
